MCM #30

I really like doing these MCM challenges, it gets me thinking of people I can make cards for, and so far every single card has gone to someone. Today's is no different, it is a birthday card for a friend, but it's a few days late, I hope she doesn't mind!

Here's the sketch

And here's my card, the lighting isn't great because I try to use natural lighting and we have gross weather here today, but I hope you can see the details!
I got to use my new kraft paper for the first time, and I think I'm going to have lots of fun with it! The swirl is drawn on with glitter pens.

Little Girl's Hat

I recently found this little hat and loved it for my daughter! It fit perfectly and was only $5! The only problem was that it just needed that extra "something".
Here is the hat Before

And here it is after I added a flower and some "bling"!

Now if only I could get the munchkin to hold still long enough for me to get a picture of her wearing it!

Tohoku Tote

Remember when I posted about this tote from Cheri at I am Momma - Hear me Roar?

I found some fabric I loved and made one for myself! I love it, and the pattern is so easy to use, I will definitely be making more of them!

Here are some pictures of the inside, I made a few pockets. One is big enough to fit an iPhone (maybe one day in the future I will own one?!), one for a pen, and one for chapstick or whatever else I need to throw in there.

K decided she had to get in the picture too, I thought I'd share one. I asked her to smile and this is what she did. Silly girl.

Make sure you check out the link at the top if you would like the pattern, there are instructions there!

Baby Bed

I saw this tutorial online to make a cute little baby doll bed. I decided to make one for my daughter for Easter. It really is a fairly easy project, I made it a lot more difficult for myself by choosing not to follow the directions (I seem to do that a lot and it never works, but I don't learn anything from it I guess!) Maybe some day I will learn that I really don't know more than the people who made the pattern. But until then, projects will continue to take me twice as long as they should :)
Enough rambling, here's the pictures!

She loves the little handles on it so she can carry her toys around while they "nap"

The little pillow isn't part of the tutorial, but I thought it needed one because my daughter is always making things into pillows for her toys :)
I also added quilt batting to the bottom and sides to make it fluffy and comfy.

Here is puppy using the bed (baby doll was napping with my daughter)

I really did have fun making this, and I now know what works and what doesn't for future projects! (following the directions works!!!)

MCM #29

Here is the sketch for MCM #29

I made an Easter card for my sister. Here it is!

More glimmer mist! :)

MCM #28

Here is the sketch for MCM #28

 And here is the card.

I got to play around with my glimmer mists and chalks on this one. They are so fun! Here is a different angle to show the shimmer a little bit! I also had fun using my Silhouette to make a mask and spray the lettering on the card!

MCM #27

Hey! I know I haven't been around much lately, and I'm sorry about that. I have been making stuff, but it's been busy around here lately and I haven't posted much! I'll be making up for that in the next few days so be on the look-out!

To start us off, here is the sketch for MCM #27

 And here is my card.

A little similar to the last one, I know, but I love that bracket shape and decided I needed to make some more cards with it anyway! (And I doubt this will be the last one you see with that shape!)
Thanks for stopping by!

Alphabet Game!

I have finally finished the alphabet match game I started a few months ago (Okay, it was finished a few months ago, but then there was a laminating accident and I had to order more supplies and redo some of it.) I got the idea from Kristy at ScrapbookSteals. Here is the link.
So here is the finished product!

Little Miss playing with it. It took her all of 3 seconds to figure out how to use it :)

I'm glad it's finally done! It was worth it and I'm excited to get rings to bind it together and see if it helps her sit still in church a little longer!
